Interviews & Scheduling
Kashif books interviews on your own connected calendar (Google or Microsoft) and lets candidates self-schedule — no back-and-forth email threads.
Prerequisite: connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 with calendar sync enabled. See Integrations. Without a connected calendar, scheduling still works as a recorded plan, but no live calendar event is created.
Candidate self-scheduling (recommended)
From a candidate's review drawer:
- Propose times. Either add slots manually, or click Suggest open slots to have Kashif propose genuinely free working-hour times from your connected calendar (see below).
- Click Generate self-booking link. Kashif creates a tokenized link (valid 7 days).
- Share it — copy it, or send it to the candidate through your connected mailbox.
The candidate opens the link (no login), picks one of the offered times, and confirms. Kashif then:
- books a real calendar event on your primary calendar (with the candidate as attendee),
- advances the pipeline entry to interview,
- records the booking and logs it to contact history.
Suggest open slots (free/busy)
Suggest open slots reads your connected calendar's free/busy for the next several business days and proposes open times within working hours, skipping anything you're already busy with. If no calendar is connected, it falls back to plain working-hour slots (which may collide with real events — connect a calendar to avoid that).
Direct booking
If you'd rather book directly (you already agreed a time), use the direct-book option in the schedule form. Kashif creates the calendar event immediately and moves the candidate to interview.
Reminders & rescheduling
- Reminders — Kashif sends the candidate a reminder about 24 hours before the interview, through your mailbox, including a reschedule link and their status link.
- Rescheduling — if the candidate rebooks via a reschedule link, Kashif cancels the previous calendar event and books the new one.
Interview feedback
Capture structured scorecards (competency ratings + recommendation) per interviewer from the candidate's review drawer, and generate an AI interview guide (focus areas and questions tailored to the candidate and role). The scorecard consensus view rolls feedback up into a recommendation. See Applicants & pipeline.
