Integrations
Kashif connects to your own Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 so candidate email and interview invites come from your company — not a platform relay — and to Slack for internal alerts.
Why connect a mailbox
Connecting a workspace mailbox unlocks the "never ghost a candidate" experience:
- Application confirmations, decision emails, and interview reminders are sent from your mailbox (great deliverability, replies land with you).
- Interview invites create real calendar events.
- Free/busy slot suggestions read your calendar to propose conflict-free times.
Without a connected mailbox, candidate emails are skipped and your dashboard shows a "Connect a mailbox so applicants hear back" reminder. Candidate mail is never sent through a shared platform address.
Google Workspace
- Go to Integrations → Google Workspace and click Connect.
- Sign in and grant access to send mail and manage calendar events.
- Choose whether to enable calendar sync (needed for booking and free/busy).
Once connected, Gmail send and Google Calendar are available across the app.
Microsoft 365
- Go to Integrations → Microsoft 365 and click Connect.
- Sign in with your Microsoft work account and grant mail + calendar access.
- Enable calendar sync if you want booking and free/busy.
Outlook mail and Microsoft Calendar then work identically to the Google path.
Choosing your primary provider
If both are connected, set a primary email provider so Kashif knows which mailbox to send candidate mail from. Calendar booking and free/busy follow the same resolution.
Slack
Connect Slack (incoming webhook) to get internal notifications — new candidates, stage moves, and scorecards — in a channel your team watches. Slack is for internal alerts only; candidate communication always goes through your email provider.
Branding your candidate pages
On paid plans, set your logo, primary color, and tagline under Settings → Branding. These theme your careers pages, the candidate status page, and scheduling pages so the whole candidate experience looks like your company.
Other connectors
ATS and job board connectors are provider-neutral placeholders today — the workspace can store configuration, but active sync/publishing isn't live yet. Check back as these mature.
Administrators: setup of the underlying OAuth apps, scopes, and the notification service is covered in the internal operations documentation, not here.
